TUITION AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Tuition for each production (an average of 60 hours) is $150. Thanks to the
Sutton Foster Scholarship Fund, children of any socioeconomic background can
participate in PPCT’s regular season and summer program.
SUMMER INTERN—APPRENTICESHIP
PPCT’s Summer Intern-Apprenticeship is an intensive six-week program for adolescents (ages 13 to 18) who have a special interest in any aspect of the Music/Theatre Arts or are planning to pursue this area of study in college. The program is divided into the following categories:
Beginning Apprentices (Performance): $300 tuition (up to
4 participants)
1. Instruction in Acting, Singing, Dance, Stage Combat, and Carpentry.
2. Involvement in all the stage productions.
Beginning Apprentices (Technical): $300 tuition (up to 3
participants)
1. Instruction in Acting, Stage Combat, Lighting, Sound, and Carpentry.
2. Involvement in all the stage productions.
Intermediate Apprentices (Performance): $400 tuition (up
to 4 participants)
1. Instruction in Acting, Singing, Modern Scene and Monologue Study, Musical
Theatre Repertory, Dance, Stage Combat, and Carpentry.
2. Involvement in all the stage productions.
Intermediate Apprentices (Technical): $400 tuition (up to
3 participants)
1. Instruction in Acting, Modern Scene and Monologue Study, Stage Combat,
Directing, Lighting, Sound, and Carpentry.
2. Involvement in all the stage productions.
Intern-Apprentices: Full Tuition Scholarship plus $700 stipend
(up to 6 participants)
1. Instruction in Acting, Singing, Dance, Classic Scene and Monologue Study,
Modern Scene and Monologue Study, Musical Theatre Repertory, Stage Combat,
Directing, Lighting, Sound, Set construction, and Theatre Administration.
2. Involvement in all the stage productions.
3. Nine hours of work per week in areas related to theatre administration
and production.
The Summer Intern-Apprenticeship 2005 program is now filled. Applications for the Summer Intern-Apprenticeship 2006 will be available in late 2005.
